To the Starbound parents who responded to the message about our meeting for 2/26/2022 and or showed up to the meeting I appreciate you and your voices were heard. To my new parents who have personally reached out and parents who have been with me since day one I appreciate you. If you did not respond to the message and did not show up to the meeting do not ask me to communicate better when the effort was put forth. Do not talk about how I run my program or do things. To the parents who have not made attempts to actually watch practice and ask questions to know what’s going on or gain understanding you have very little right to criticize. You would not know because you have not been there. For those who may have been confused or unsatisfied this was a great opportunity to voice yourself and then gain understanding. If you could not make it to the meeting, I was open to meet one on one or reschedule if you had communicated with me as to why one couldn’t be present. Do not let me hear through a second hand source of how you feel, but then when given opportunity, would not talk directly to the source. I will not tolerate it. I do not want to hear excuses or reasons as to why you could not be there. Everyone has my number and or email and there was plenty of opportunity to communicate and let me know as to why one could not make it. If there is any doubt about my credentials I will gladly let you know how many world titles I have won and coached teams to win, how many kids I have gotten into college, and how I have gotten a few kids currently on NFL and NBA cheer associations if that would make you feel better. This meeting was not mandatory but I have heard lots of chatter in the background and I wanted to bring that background noise to the light. I wanted to offer understanding and meet in the middle ground. As a coach and director I now know who is serious and who simply likes to make noise. I will be designating three team moms tonight or tomorrow. If you have issues you will need to go through them and they will pass along the info to me. If you happen to see me at the gym you are more then welcome to ask me questions but my answers will be realistic and short. My focus will be on growing your amazing young athletes and creating a better program for the future.
